Twisting injury of knee.

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female

Edema is seen on medial patellar facet and lateral femoral condyle. This pattern is typical of lateral dislocation of patella.

Chondral injury on patella and osteochondral injury on femoral condyle is seen.

Invariably the medial patellar retinaculum is compromised.
