Left thalamic hemorrhage with intraventricular extension

Acute hematoma is seen in the left thalamus with surrounding edema.
Extension of the hemorrhage is seen to occipital horns of both lateral ventricles.
Case Discussion
The features are consistent with nontraumatic hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage.
