High T2 signal is seen in dorsal pon (involving the facial colliculi) and the midbrain.
Case Discussion
Unfortunately, this is a case I collected years ago while on fellowship and I have no additional clinical information other than knowing that the diagnosis of Leigh disease had been established.
It should be noted that a variety of patterns of involvement are recognized.
