Histology of a patient with leukoencephalopathy with calcifications and cysts demonstrating a combination of calcification and gliosis with exuberant Rosenthal fiber formation. The calcification can be linear alongside blood vessels (upper left panel) and therefore can mimic Fahr’s disease.
