Presentation

Injury to foot during sport.

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Increased distance between the bases of the first and second metatarsals as well as between the medial and intermediate cuneiform suspicious for a Lisfranc injury. 

x-ray

Small bone fragment at the base of the second metatarsal on the oblique view.

Small avulsion fracture at the base of the second metatarsal as well as the lateral dorsal aspect of the lateral cuneiform bone with slight widening of the Lisfranc joint. 

Distal tibial fracture.

The patient underwent internal fixation of the Lisfranc joint.
