Presentation

Road traffic accident caused blunt abdominal trauma. CT scan abdomen & Pelvis - on day of trauma - Liver contusion and right adrenal hematoma. Referred for 48 hrs follow up by ultrasound.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

Enlarged right adrenal gland.  

Heterogeneous echo pattern area in the right lobe of liver -  contusion.

Right perinephric fluid rim. Right kidney is normal.

Minimal free fluid in pelvis.
