Presentation

Left flank pain.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male

There are numerous multilocular hyperdense lesions in left renal cortex, with few hypodense cysts in between. The right kidney has an unremarkable appearance.

There are numerous cystic lesions in the left kidney. They appear slightly hyperintense on T1W images, and show dark signal in T2W images, with show no signal loss T1 out phase sequences.

There are few cysts appear hypointense T1W and hyperintense in T2W images.

Case Discussion

Hyperattenuating lesions relative to renal parenchyma and T2W markedly hypointense signal, with invisible fat content denoting blood or proteinatious content cysts with others few simple cysts, suggestive of localized renal cystic disease.
