There is a central posterior disc herniation at L4-5 with caudal continuation of the disc material causing an anterior dural indentation.
Incidentally noted, left ovarian cyst with thin wall and clear fluid content.
Focal disc migration is defined as a condition where a detached piece of the nucleus pulposus migrates from its intradiscal location. Herniation usually occurs in relatively young patients when intradiscal pressure remains high. Disc herniation may occur in any direction.
