Lung cancer metastasis - unusual location

Presentation

Patient with known non-small cell lung cancer noticed a slight swelling on the back of her nose during the last 6 months. Lately, the swelling became a light red in color.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female

A rounded enhancing soft tissue nodule is seen at the upper part of the nose eroding both nasal bones. Foci of calcifications are noted.

Case Discussion

Histology proved this to be a lung cancer metastasis on the back of the nose with infiltration of the nasal bone.
