Lymphangitic carcinomatosis secondary to thyroid cancer

Presentation

A known case of recently histologically proven papillary cell carcinoma of the thyroid.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male

Nodular and irregular thickening of peribronchvascular interstitium and interlobular septa are seen in both lungs. Multiple metastatic nodules also are noted. 

Case Discussion

The CT findings in a 60-year-old male with a known history of thyroid papillary cell carcinoma are consistent with lymphangitic carcinomatosis.
