Lymphocytic hypophysitis

Thickening of the centralized pituitary infundibulum (measuring 0.6 mm in caliber) with more diffuse enhancement. Normal MRI appearance and enhancement of the pituitary gland. No focal lesions or abnormal enhancements or contour abnormality. No parasellar or suprasellar lesions. Normal MR appearance of the optic chiasm and cavernous sinuses.
Case Discussion
This is a known case of pathologically proven granulomatous lymphocytic hypophysitis treated with steroid therapy. The case has been continually followed up.
