Presentation

Double incontinence after a fall.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Female

Lytic lesion involving the sacrum. The main differential diagnosis is between primary bone tumors versus a metastasis. 

ct

Anterior mediastinal soft tissue mass lesion. The lesion is encasing the major vasculature. The appearance is highly suggestive of lymphoma.

Diffuse abnormal marrow signal and enhancement centered in the left sacrum.

Nuclear medicine

Increased uptake in the sacrum. 

Case Discussion

Unfortunately, the patient went against medical advice, and a biopsy was not done for the lesion. However, the presumed diagnosis of lymphoma was entertained.
