Diabetic hypertensive C/O left sided parathesia and weakness of 5 days duration

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Male
mri

Right insular and periventricular early subacute infarction exhibits restricted diffusion in DWI, bright signal in T2 and FLAIR. No significant mass effect or hermorrhagic transformation.

MRA reveals occluded distal M1 segment of the right MCA.

Diagnosis: Early subacute infarction in right MCA territory
