Case Discussion

Meckel's diverticulum appears as a fluid- or air-filled blind-ending pouch that arises from the antimesenteric side of the distal ileum. It resembles a normal bowel loop if uncomplicated and easily missed on CT. Most common presentations include gastrointestinal hemorrhage, small-bowel obstruction, and Meckel diverticulitis.
