Presentation

The patient arrived in A&E with a history of fall and was non-weight bearing.

x-ray

There is a medial fracture dislocation of the talonavicular joint. A large defect is seen in the articular surface of the talus. Fracture of the cuboid is also present.

x-ray

Partial reduction has been achieved. The talar defect is better demonstrated.

There is medial fracture dislocation at the talonavicular joint. Disruption of the trabecular pattern in the cuboid is seen. There is a large defect in the medial aspect of the talus. An os tibiale externum is visualized.
