An extra-axial solid mass lesion measuring about 30*35*45 mm with dural tail along the left frontotemporal lobes. The mass lesion is somewhat isointense to gray matter both on T1WI and T2WI with marked homogeneous enhancement on post-contrast images. No edema in the underlying brain parenchyma.
Case Discussion
Meningiomas are common extra-axial tumors. It is usually a benign lesion with a low rate of recurrence. Typically meningiomas appear as a dural-based mass isointense to grey matter on T1WI and T2WI with vivid contrast enhancement.
