Long history of mild headache.

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

An extra axial solid mass lesion with dural tail along left fronto-temporal lobe. The mass lesion is somewhat isointense to gray matter both on T1WI and T2WI with marked homogeneous enhancement on post contrast images. No edema in the underlying brain parenchyma

Case Discussion

Meningiomas are common extra-axial tumors. It is usually a benign lesion with a low rate of recurrence. Typically meningiomas appear as a dural-based mass isointense to grey matter on T1WI and T2WI with vivid contrast enhancement.
