Parietal mass demonstrating textbook imaging characteristics of a parafalcine meningioma:
- isointense to grey matter on both T1 and T2 weighted images
- bright homogenous contrast enhancement
- restricted diffusion
- CSF cleft sign (on T2 weighted images)
Case Discussion
Although histology is not available in this case, it is statistically extremely likely (99%+) that this represents a meningioma. There are no unusual features to suggest an uncommon histological variant or an alternative diagnosis.
