Follow-up MRI of a known meningioma of the right posterior fossa.

Gender: Female

MRI showed a dural enhancing mass neighboring the sigmoid sinus, that was filled with homogeneous enhancing material as well. On native and contrast-enhanced T1-weighted images, there was no clear signal difference between them. However, on T2-weighted images, the intra-sinus material signal was less intense than the dural mass, so it might have represented an organized thrombus, that extended into the jugular foramen.
