Presentation

Progressive spastic quadraparesis over 7 months, left worse than right. New speech and swallowing difficulties.

Age: 4 years
Gender: Female

Diffuse T2 hyperintensity in the deep white matter of both cerebral hemispheres with involvement of the pyramidal tracts and sparing of the subcortical U fibers.
