Presentation

History of aspiration of a hair pin 1 week ago.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Female

A dense metallic thin structure (hair pin) is seen lodged within the right posterior basal segmental bronchus.

A small thin right lower lung lobe posterior segment atelectatic band is noted. Otherwise, clear both lungs with no evidence of masses, consolidation or cavitation.
