Selected image demonstrating placental cord insertion and cord entanglement in a monochorionic monoamniotic twin pregnancy. The remainder of the scan performed at 17 weeks gestation, was unremarkable.

Umbilical cord entanglement is seen in most monochorionic monoamniotic twin pregnancies and is useful in the confirmation of monoamnionicity.
