Changes included a dorsal protrusion of the entire navicular, fragmentation and dorsal protrusion of the lateral portion of the bone.
Case Discussion
The Mueller Weiss disease refers to spontaneous osteonecrosis of the tarsal navicular in adults. This syndrome is distinct from Köhler disease, the osteochondrosis of the tarsal navicular bone that occurs in children.
