Presentation

Increasing shortness of breath.

Multifocal airspace opacification throughout the right lung, predominantly in the midzone.

Case Discussion

Relatively acute onset symptoms with increasing shortness of breath, pyrexia and raised inflammatory markers.  Radiographically, acute unilateral airspace shadowing in keeping with infection.

Positive sputum culture and response to antibiotics.
