Multiloculated collection of fluid appearing bright on the T2-weighted images extending from the base of the lateral meniscus anterolaterally.

Case Discussion

Parameniscal cysts may develop as a result of a torn meniscus acting as a one-way value for joint fluid to flow into the parameniscal tissues.
