Multiple large uterine leiomyomata

Abdominal mass.

Patient Data

Age: 35
Gender: Female

The uterus is markedly enlarged with lobulated outline. It shows multiple lesions with isointense T1 and hypointense T2 with central degeneration / necrosis. These lesions show heterogenous post contrast enhancement.

A left ovarian cystic lesion is seen. it shows high T1 and T2 signal with no signal drop out on fat suppression sequence.

Case Discussion

Multiple uterine leiomyomata (fibroid uterus) and left ovarian haemorrahgic cyst.
