Known to have MS disease came for a routine MRI. Previous exams were brought only in printed films.

Multiple T2/FLAIR hyperintensities are identified scattered in the brainstem and cerebral white matter. On the sagittal plane, lesions extending up through corpus callosum in a characteristic "Dawson`s fingers" appearance.
Case Discussion
Multiple sclerosis is a relatively common acquired chronic relapsing demyelinating disease involving the central nervous system. It is by definition disseminated not only in space (i.e multiple lesions) but also in time (i.e lesions are of different age).
Our report described the increase in the number of lesions, compared with the previous scan, demonstrating interval disease activity.
