Presentation

Presented with right leg shortening and hip pain after a fall at home. The urinary catheter was inserted in ED due to difficulty passing urine.

Patient Data

Age: 90 years
Gender: Male

Right intertrochanteric neck of femur fracture, urinary catheter in situ, and additional tubing within the bladder.

Endings of three urinary catheters were retrieved from the bladder during cystoscopy.
