There is ossification of posterior muscles of the right hip which cause subluxation of the femoro-acetabular joint at the same side. Features compatible with myositis ossificans in a patient with history of trauma about one year ago.
Case Discussion
Heterotopic ossification usually within large muscles is characteristic for myositis ossificans. Most cases occur as a result of trauma.
