Presentation

Gradual nasal obstruction and interrupted epistaxis for one year.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female

A well-defined large intensely enhancing right nasal mass was seen arising from the mid nasal septum with pedicle, associated with medial bowing of the nasal septum and deviation of the inferior nasal turbinate laterally. It shows free diffusion with high ADC. It measures 6 x 2.3 x 3.2 cm in AP x TR x CC respectively. right frontal, ethmoidal, maxillary and sphenoidal sinusitis.

The pathological report of the case confirms pyogenic granuloma with no atypia

The patient underwent endoscopic sinus surgery and pathology confirmation of nasal pyogenic granuloma.

There is a nasal vascular mass arising from the mid-part of the nasal septum. It causes displacement of surrounding bone structures and free diffusion coping with its benign nature.
