Necrotizing pancreatitis with acute necrotic collection

A gentleman with upper abdominal pain, elevated pancreatic enzymes and inflammation markers, who discharged himself from hospital.

Patient Data

Age: 55
Gender: Male

Thickening and unsharp contours of the pancreatic body. Clear demarcation of avascular necroses only after contrast. Native attenuation of the lesions was 38-40 HU.
