Newborn. Developed aberrant respiratory parameters.

Patient Data

Age: 2 days
Gender: Female

x-ray

Initial film but respiratory problems developed.

Nasogastric tube tip below the diaphragm.

Coarse Interstitial opacities in right lung upper zone, hyperlucent middle zone.
Bilateral infrahilar subsegmental atelectasis.

The next morning

x-ray

Hyperlucency of the right hemithorax with mediastinal displacement.

Nasogastric tube tip just in the stomach.  Endotracheal tube.

x-ray

Endotracheal tube and NG tube.

Air in the right pleural space.

x-ray

Endotracheal tube and nasogastric tube,

Right pleural drain.

The right pneumothorax has resolved.
