Two selected images from a non-contrast study demonstrate two foci of calcifications. The larger occipitotemporal focus is surrounded by low density in keeping with edema.

MRI demonstrates findings consistent with active inflammatory change around the left parietal lobe lesion with edema and minor contrast enhancement.
Case Discussion
Findings are almost certainly those of neurocysticercosis. The patient was followed up, the edema abated and calcification persisted.
