The bronchi of the anterior segments of the upper lobes course mainly anteriorly in 50% of cases and are thus are seen as a ring shadow with little if any soft tissue surrounding them.
Case Discussion
Presence of more than 5mm of soft tissue lateral to a visible bronchus has been termed the anterior bronchus sign.
