Normal cervical disc replacement and anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF)

Presentation

Post op 2 month check up.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Female

C4/C5 ACDF with disc spacer in situ, alignment is maintained with no hardware complications.
C5/C6 disc replacement noted. Mild anterolisthesis of C5 on C6 is stable and unchanged from the immediate post op X rays.
Alignment is maintained through the cervical spine.

Nice example of 2 very different procedures on adjacent cervical disc spaces - one to fuse the joint, and the other to maintain movement in the joint.
