Normal sniff test

Presentation

Recurrent progressive dyspnea.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female
Fluoroscopy

Normal excursion of both hemidiaphragms was observed during quiet inspiration and expiration. During the sniff test, normal diaphragmatic relaxation was identified on both sides. No paradoxical diaphragmatic excursion was identified to suggest phrenic nerve palsy.
