Presentation

Abdominal pain for investigation.

Patient Data

Age: 6 years
Gender: Female

Normal pancreas. Normal aortic caliber. The gallbladder is thin walled and non tender with no stones or pericholecystic fluid. No biliary dilation. The liver has normal echogenicity and texture with a smooth surface contour. No focal lesion. The portal vein is patent with antegrade flow. Normal homogeneous spleen measuring 6.5cm (within normal limits for the patient's age).The kidneys are normal, with no pelvicalyceal dilation. Right kidney 7.3cm, left kidney 7.4cm (normal limits for the patient's age). Normal urinary bladder. No free fluid.
