An irregular soft tissue mass lesion is seen arising from right maxillary bone alveolar process, measuring 6 X 4.2 X 2.7 cm in orthogonal dimensions. It fills and expands the right maxillary antrum with outward bulge and encroachment upon the right infra-temporal fossa. It elicits iso- to hypo-intense T1 and hyper-intense T2/STIR signals with low signal margin and internal septae. No evidence of infiltration of surrounding tissues.
Case Discussion
Right maxillary bone and maxillary antrum benign looking lesion as described; pathologically proven odontogenic myxoma.
