Esophageal cancer with pulmonary metastasis

Presentation

Dysphagia and chest pain of 2 months duration.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years old
Gender: Male

Irregular circumferential thickening of the mid esophagus with esophageal dilatation of the proximal segment, invasion of the adjacent right pleura, periosteal reaction without definite invasion of the right 2nd and 3rd ribs, subcarinal lymph node and multiple bilateral metastatic pulmonary nodules

Case Discussion

The patient was diagnosed as esophageal cancer T4N1M1 and biopsy revealed squamous cell carcinoma type.
