Hypodense mass in the left subependymal/thalamic region, bulging into the lateral ventricle.

Previous CT showing that this patient presented with basal ganglia hemorrhage.

A basal ganglia hemorrhage is a common form of intracerebral hemorrhage, usually as a result of poorly controlled long-standing hypertension.
