There is evidence of CSF clefts bilaterally in the peri rolandic region communicating the cortical surface with the trigone areas of both lateral ventricles.
The CSF cleft is lined by grey matter.
Some areas of broad thickened gyri with shallow sulci are also noted in both cerebral hemispheres involving the pareito-occipito-temporal lobes.
Case Discussion
The features described above are in favor of bilateral open lip schizencephaly with features of pachygyria.
