Presentation

Gradual loss of vision over the last five years without an obvious history of trauma or medical conditions.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male

Abnormal thinning of bilateral optic nerves with loss of volume particularly the intraorbital and intracanalicular segments 

Retention cyst at right maxillary sinus.

Case Discussion

Atrophy of intraorbital and intracanalicular segments of both optic nerve without enhancement consistent with bilateral optic nerve atrophy.
