Orbital blow-out fracture and medial rectus muscle transection

Presentation

Facial trauma and orbital pain and limitation of motion of the right eye.

Patient Data

Age: 15 years
Gender: Female

Right orbital medial wall and floor blow-out fracture with fat and medial rectus muscle herniation within the fracture gap and penetration of fractured bone within the muscle and transection of the muscle are seen. Hemorrhage within the right side ethmoid and maxillary sinus is seen. Exodeviation of right eye is noted.
