Left testicular pain - 3 days.

Patient Data

Age: about 35 yrs
Gender: Male

Left testis shows hypoechoic ill-defined area involving lower polar region with increased vascularity.

Left epididymis - Head - body - tail -  appear normal.

Left sided fluid with echoes in tunical sac.

Increased thickness and echogenesity of left spermatic cord.

RIGHT testis - epididymis - cord - are normal.

Case Discussion

Orchitis is infection of the testicle, which may be isolated or in conjunction with the epididymis, termed epididymo-orchitis.
