Os peroneum fracture

Right lateral foot pain.

Patient Data

Age: 40
Gender: Female
x-ray

Irregular appearing os peroneum.

An os peroneum is identified and returns slight T2 signal intensity.  The associated segment of the peroneus longus tendon is normal. The tibialis posterior tendon is unremarkable. The bone marrow signal is normal. The medial and lateral supporting structures are intact.

Comment: Fragmentation of the os peroneum.
