Presentation
Anterior distal leg lump.
Patient Data
Arising from the anterior aspect of the distal tibia is a sessile bony mass which displaces the overlying muscles. It appears to be continuous with the medullary cavity.
Well-defined sessile bony outgrowth at the anterior aspect of the lower third right tibia. It shows continuity with the cortex and medullary cavity of the parent bone. There are overlying soft tissue edema and inflammatory changes which appear bright in T2 and of low signal in T1.
Case Discussion
Right tibia lower third anterior osteochondroma (exostosis) with overlying soft tissue edema and inflammatory changes.
