Pain after right knee strain

There are no fractures at the right knee.

Pictures show regular linear bands of radio-opacity extended vertically from the metaphysis into the diaphysis of the femur, tibia and fibula.

Comparative radiograph prove bilateral alterations.

Case Discussion

The findings relate to a rare sclerosing dysplasia called Osteopathia Striata (also known as  Voorhoeve disease), a rare benign dysplasia of bone, involving the epiphysis and metaphysis of tubular bones.

Typically asymptomatic and bilateral.

There may be an association with Goltz syndrome.
