Nuclear medicine

Symmetrically increased focal uptake in the metaphysic and adjacent diaphysis of multiple long bones, characteristic of osteopetrosis.

Diffusely increased bone density.

x-ray

Serial x-rays show diffuse increased bone density and managed pathological fractures. 

Fixation of intertrochanteric fracture of the left hip with plate and screws.

L5/S1 mild lytic spondylolisthesis with fixation by rods and screws.

Lumbosacral spine

Diffuse low marrow signal on T1 and T2, in keeping with diffuse bone sclerosis.
