Numerous enostoses (bone islands) bilaterally, mostly in the iliac body and ischium, around the sacroiliac joints, and in the proximal femora to the level of the lesser trochanter.

Multiple enostoses are scattered bilaterally in a medullary distribution throughout all the pelvic bones, femoral head and neck, and lower lumbar vertebrae.

There are several small lucent foci in the anterior aspect of the right femoral head, probably synovial herniation pits.

Case Discussion

Osteopoikilosis is a sclerosing bony dysplasia comprising multiple enostoses. It is a benign autosomal dominant disorder.
