Left chest pain, known case of left humeral osteosarcoma.

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male

Path proven case of left humeral osteosarcoma post amputation.

Note the recurrence on left side adjacent to scapula.

Multiple calcified lung metastases are seen in both lungs.

Note the left spontaneous hydro-pneumothorax that is commonly seen with osteosarcoma metastases.

Case Discussion

The most common sarcomas causing secondary spontaneous pneumothorax are osteosarcoma and synovial sarcoma.
